Gary Uftring has been a fixture to central Illinois car buyers for many years, including before the acquisition of his first dealership in Washington. Mr. Uftring began his automotive career on the wash rack at a small dealership in Minonk, Illinois. Armed with the determination to succeed and the desire to become a top salesman, he took advantage of opportunities as a “fill in” sales consultant when the store was short staffed. When he turned 18, the owner of the dealership agreed to let him sell cars full time. Because he was so young, Mr. Uftring focused on exceptional product knowledge and a passion for cars – two traits that serve him well to this day. Over the years, Mr. Uftring has developed an/or acquired multiple dealerships in central Illinois. However, his focus has always remained on great customer service and a commitment to giving back to the community.

I was raised and graduated high school in Washington. I currently live in Eureka with my wife Heather. I have one son named Jaden. Outside of work, I raise angus cattle as my wife runs a farm-to-table beef business which keeps us “mooving”. I am an avid sports fan and enjoy watching the Chicago Bears and Iowa Hawkeye college sports. I have been with the Uftring Auto Group since March of 1992. At Uftring Chevrolet, there’s always something new every day and I always enjoy meeting new people. Integrity, reputation and honesty are what I like most about the Uftring Auto Group organization. My favorite vehicles to sell are Silverados and Corvettes! The excitement and smile on a customer’s face after taking delivery of a Corvette is unmatched and so rewarding. I’m from Wabash, Indiana, but currently live in Bloomington. I have a lovely wife, Janet, and we have raised four children together. I also have two beautiful grandchildren. When I’m not selling, I love to golf and watch football and baseball. I am a huge Detroit Tigers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and New York Jets fan! I, however, enjoy being with my family above all. What I love most about selling cars and trucks is helping people get the vehicle they want and need. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the look on a customer’s face after you have put them into their desired car. I love being motivated by my coworkers, and carrying on the deed. We are a big family here at Uftring, and I am constantly reminded by the honesty and positivity that is displayed on a daily basis. I am from Washington and currently live in Germantown Hills. My wife Melissa and I have 3 children, Jake, Wes and our daughter Casey. We also have 5 grandchildren. Outside of work I enjoy fishing and camping. I love meeting new people and watching my customers get the vehicle they want. I also enjoy driving different cars and seeing new models come out. I have been with Uftring Chevrolet since October of 2013. I was born and raised right here in Washington, IL and currently live here in town. I am married to my beautiful wife Hailey and have three daughters, Brooklynn, Channing and Lux. When I am not at work I am hanging out with my girls. I’m originally from Morton, Il and now live in Washington. I’ve been with Uftring since March of 2010. I am married to Kirsten, and we have two beautiful kids named Madissyn and Hunter. I’m a big Chicago Bears and Cubs fan! I also love to fish, go snowmobiling and spend time outdoors with my family. What I love most about Uftring is the staff as a whole. The people I work with make this job a great experience. I also love the values that Gary and the rest of the Uftring family represents. I am originally from Geneseo and have lived in Washington since 1995. My wife Colleen and I have 3 children, Jacob, Brittany and Kasey, and 1 granddaughter Gracie. Outside of work I enjoy fishing, hunting, drag racing, snowmobiling and camping. My favorite types of vehicles to be around are Corvettes as I own and drive one myself. I grew up in Washington and currently reside there with my family. My wife Amber and I have 4 children. Charlie is the oldest who plays baseball and basketball at school. Harper is the middle child and plays soccer. My daughter Amelia is a dancer and Cameron is my youngest son. We have three dogs named Whiskey, Toby and Winnie. Outside of work, I enjoy attending my kids sporting events, live music, traveling, cooking and barbecuing. I love meeting new people every day at work, creating relationships, helping them find the perfect vehicle.
